The Villa Puccini Museum is located on the western shore of Massaciuccoli Lake, a charming natural site that includes, in addition to the lake, a dense network of canals that flow to the sea: a protected wetland area of great natural interest, adjacent to the forest Lecciona and Macchia Migliarino.
As at the time of Puccini, you can still see the canals scales for fishing and the cabanas (boat tour and birdwatching).
Along the perimeter of the lake there are buildings and places of great historical interest: the Ginori and Orlando villas, the splendid Roman Baths at Massaciuccoli.
