The "Scientific exhibition of the cut flower" is one of the main novelties of the XXIV edition of the 'Exhibition of Ancient Camellias in the Lucca' to be held in the village of the Camellias in March: 9-10, 16-17 and 23-24 always weekend. Another novelty of this important cultural event concerns the camelias, considered the "jewel" of the event, which welcomes more than 700 cultivars of ancient camellias nineteenth century divided into 10 zones, each of which will be entitled to a musician. Some small concerts will be accompanying visitors to the garden. Along with these important new service to qualify for a further projection of the next edition of the exhibition will be set up a collaboration with Lucca. The 'Exhibition of botanical painting' will be hosted at the headquarters of the association 'Lucchesi nel Mondo'. A synergistic collaboration aimed at a major expansion of the network of Green on the territory.
Also present for this edition, the 'Tour of the Villas' which has always received widespread success in the past, will accompany visitors to tour the many historic houses of territory to discover its beautiful gardens, both internal and external to the Village of the Camellias. Three thematic itineraries: one of the Camellias, the discovery of plants and gardens, the history, including cultural relics and legends, and finally that of water, to know Visona, the river of task, and numerous mills, fountains and wash houses that surround it may to admire the flower enthusiasts and not only its beauty, both architectural and natural, of the village.
